The Lupercalia Vigil: A Valentine's Day Group Vow Renewal

As Valentine's Day draws to a close, gather in candlelight for The Lupercalia Vigil. Held on the eve of Lupercalia, this ceremony invites couples to pause before the celebration of bodily autonomy and sexual liberation begins, honoring the bond they have built and the future they continue to choose together.

Limited to just 10 couples, this exclusive evening is designed for partners who crave something darker, more meaningful, and far from ordinary.

Inside Milton Hall, elegantly styled high-top tables and atmospheric décor will set the stage for your ceremony of recommitment, surrounded by like-minded couples.

A Minister of Satan will guide the evening, leading a vow renewal experience that honors love through individuality, mutual respect, and personal freedom.

Your ceremony will include exchanging vows and a red ribbon rebinding ceremony, symbolizing the reaffirmation of your commitment. The red ribbon rebinding portion of the evening is similar to a handfasting, serving as a visual representation of your bond.

Following the ceremony, couples will receive a beautifully designed decorative marriage certificate signed onsite by your Minister - a personalized keepsake to commemorate your experience. You will also receive a print out of the ceremony script, wrapped in twine and sealed with the Satanic Ceremonies wax seal.

Whether you were married traditionally, eloped years ago, or simply want to reaffirm your bond in a setting that truly reflects who you are, this one-night-only Valentine’s day event offers a rare chance to do so in one of Salem's most unique venues.

There will be time to explore The Satanic Temple Salem and take a few photos afterwards, if desired.

If you want to book a private, legal wedding ceremony with us on February 14th, you can do so from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Please select from one of our regular wedding packages and follow the booking instructions on that page.
