Ceremonies at The Satanic Temple Salem are officiated and conducted by our Ministers of Satan. 

Minister Thomas O'Brien Vallor 

For more than twenty years Thomas has been a historian and occultist in Salem, MA. Coming from a background of witchcraft, he's experienced in officiating weddings and writing rituals. He's the creator of Satanic Salem Walking Tours. You'll find him featured in media such as Travel Channel, Discovery Science, Vice News, CW, and TSTTV.

Minister Pixie

Minister Pixie, based in Salem, has been proudly serving the community since 2019 through her volunteer work at the Salem Art Gallery and the Satanic Temple. As part of the first group of ministers ordained through the minister program, Pixie has had the honor of officiating weddings and unbaptisms for many wonderful individuals. She also played a key role in facilitating ceremonies at SatanCon 2023 in Boston.
Some of Pixie's most memorable weddings include a unique handfasting featuring a family pet boa constrictor and a fun He-Man-themed celebration. Whether you're looking for a completely custom ceremony or a more traditional scripted service, Pixie brings a bubbly yet focused energy to her role. She looks forward to the opportunity to work with you and make your ceremony truly special!

Minister Benji Fox

Minister Benji has been a part of the Satanic Temple since 2022. He became officially ordained as a minister in 2024. He is also the Co-Facilitator of the Massachusetts Candidate Congregation. Minister Benji is enthusiastic to perform any and all ceremonies, including personal affirmations, gender affirmations, weddings, unbaptisms, etc. Minister Benji loves to meet people prior to their ceremony in order to personalize and customize the ceremony to their needs and wants. 

Minister Marius Dietrich Gärtner 

Minister Marius first learned of The Satanic Temple in April 2019 when he saw the documentary film Hail Satan? at his local theater in Athens, Ohio. After seeing the film, he knew that he wanted to join as soon as possible. The tenets themselves, especially the third, struck a cord so strongly that he began planning his trip to visit Salem, Massachusetts in August of that same year; after seeing TST HQ for himself, he purchased his membership documents that same day. Upon learning of the ministry program in 2021, his determination only strengthened to assist TST and work toward becoming ordained as soon as possible. After moving to New England in December 2021 for his new career path, he began studying what materials he could find within TST's online reading list; however, it wasn't until December of 2023 that he was able to participate in the Satanic Scholar and Ordination programs due to his new career responsibilities. Having joined TST Albany upon moving to New England, he was able to receive the tutoring and guidance needed to become ordained. Since TST Albany's dissolution, Marius has been assisting the TST Massachusetts Candidate Congregation in obtaining their congregation status. With a long history of experience in creative writing, personnel leadership, and group ritualistic practice, Marius hopes to continue doing everything he can to assist TST and its members in achieving their goals for the foreseeable future.
