What is a Satanic wedding?
A Satanic Wedding is a wedding officiated by a Minister of Satan. Almost every aspect of a Satanic wedding can be customized to you and your partner.

How do I get a marriage license?
City hall issues the license, we cannot file for that or provide it to you. Once you obtain your license, please bring it and all paperwork given to you by the city to your ceremony. -
Can I get my marriage license from a different city or town in MA? Does it need to be obtained in Salem?
You can get a marriage license from any city or town in MA. Please just keep in mind that the marriage license needs to be returned to the city hall it was obtained from. -
Can I get use a marriage license from another state?
No. If you would like to get legally married at The Satanic Temple Salem the marriage license needs to be obtained in Massachusetts. If you would like to be legally married in another state and have a non-legal ceremony with us, that is also an option for your consideration. -
Can I get married the same day I book my wedding package?
That depends on several factors. Please feel free to reach out and inquire before booking. -
When will I get to speak to my Minister about the ceremony and vows?
You will be connected to your Minister via email approximately 2-3 months out from your wedding date. -
What if I am already married? Can I still have a ceremony at The Satanic Temple?
Absolutely. We would be honored to host your vow renewal, anniversary ceremony or otherwise.

Do I need witnesses for my ceremony?
No, Massachusetts does not require witnesses to be present. -
Can I have a non-legally binding wedding or ceremony at The Satanic Temple Salem?
Yes! If you are looking for a non-legally binding ceremony without a marriage license we can certainly do that for you. -
Can you help me find vendors for my wedding?
Of course! There is a spread sheet right here. -
I have loved ones coming in from out of the area. Where can they stay?
We have an on-site guest suite! In addition to that, Salem is home to many wonderful options. The closest is The Cove. Â

How many people can I invite to my ceremony?
Our packages are tiered and able to flex with your needs. Package 1 is meant for intimate ceremonies including approximately 10 people. Packages 2 is able to accommodate approximately 30-40 people. Please keep in mind these numbers are just guidelines and can be flexible.Â
