This handwoven chainmaille handfasting chain is a unique alternative to traditional handfasting cords. Made of 18 and 20 gauge stainless steel rings, the handfasting chain is 5 feet long and can be personalized with sterling silver tags at each end with the couple's stamped initials. After the ceremony, the chain can be worn as a fashion accessory in countless different ways: a belt, a shoulder chain, or a looped necklace are just a few ideas. Cleaning instructions: the personalized tags are sterling silver and may tarnish over time. Simply rub them with a polishing cloth at the first sign of tarnish. The chain itself is stainless steel and should require no maintenance. If it gets dirty, just rub with a damp cloth.
